On October 17th, Kevin Eikenberry presented a very motivational and inspiring all day seminar on Remarkable Leadership, also the title of his book. I thought I would share a few of the thoughts that I walked away with in hopes that others would add to the list.
As I sit here reflecting on the day I could just go on and on. I walked away reflecting on new ways of looking at things, learning new things to try and reinforcing some of the things I already knew.
From the feedback, questions and responses received I know the day was a success. Four companies have been in contact to ask for Kevin’s contact information. His message was powerful enough they want to bring him in-house, to invest in continual learning.
Please add your take-aways from the day!
Check out our facebook page for pictures from the day……it was a good one. While you are there....like our facebook page to see what else is going on in the chapter.
As a trainer do you sell? Do you teach how to sell?
November's guest presenter, Teri Fairchild, will be speaking on Sales Training. I've been thinking a lot about this topic. It is not a common topic in my training business, however; it is mandatory for me to do. I have learned that I am always selling myself and my passions. But am I successful at it?
I am looking forward to hearing Teri speak. Teri sells well!! I can always use more reminders and tips. What sales tips and tricks do you use in your training world?
What is Employee Learning Week?
Employee Learning Week is an awareness campaign highlighting the important connection between learning and achieving organizational results.
When is it?
December 2-6, 2013
Where is it?
Employee Learning Week events can happen anywhere! Hold events in your office or plan a special off-site program.
Why participate?
Training is more important now than ever before. The growing skills gap and increased need to compete in today's economy require organizations to develop a knowledgeable and highly skilled workforce.
Who can participate?
All organizations are encouraged to recognize Employee Learning Week by rededicating themselves to employee learning.
Tell us what you're doing to promote Employee Learning Week and we'll feature you as an official ASTD "Champion of Learning” in our monthly newsletter.
