Performance Improvement: Managing and Coaching around 12 Questions

The numbers don’t lie.  When employees feel valued and are able to play to their strengths, productivity, profitability, customer ratings, retention, and overall well-being improve.  According to the Gallup Organization, “managers account for at least 70% of the variance in employee engagement scores.”

During the session, Traci McCausland of Follow Your Strengths, will help you understand a framework which leads to improved employee engagement and performance outcomes.  The workshop will focus on applying the process to how organizations and managers can lead, inspire, and engage team members and colleagues.

Learning objectives

  • Examine Gallup’s Employee Engagement Hierarchy and its 12 key elements.
  • Discuss employee engagement from the following perspectives: Basic Needs, Individual, Teamwork, and Growth with a focus on coaching questions and tools to improve performance.
  • Understand the critical role and impact managers and leaders have on the engagement levels of their team.
  • Review various tools and resources available for team training sessions and 1:1 coaching sessions with your team member and leaders.
