PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

What happens the day after, month after, or even the year after training or onboarding has finished?  The unsung hero of your organization is the processes that make your operations function effectively.  Process guides, standard operating procedures, job aids, checklists, and documentation are your operational blueprint and set your team members (and organizations) up for success!

During this session, we will look at the following:

• explore indicators of business processes that are part of your operational challenges
• gather, validate and organize your processes
• discover readily available tools

BIOGRAPHY

Nicole Soer is a Systems Business Analyst at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville by day and the creator of the website, NicoleSoer.com, by early morning and night.  She has been called the "Queen of Documentation" by one of her colleagues and is interested in figuring out processes so she can improve them.  She has spent many years in IT as well as training and development and enjoys collaborating with others on ways to streamline their business processes using technology.  Nicole has a B.S. in Mathematics from Illinois State University, an M.A. in Psychology from Loras College as well as a Data Analytics Certificate from Loras College.  Additionally, she has been a member of ATD Hawkeye chapter for more than 8 years and served in various board roles for 6 of those years.

SHRM CREDITS

This program is valid for 1 PDC for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.

REGISTRATION FEES
Members can log into the website and register to attend the program for free.  Guests will need to register online and pay a fee of $20.00. We'd be more than happy to apply your registration fee toward a chapter membership when you become a member within one week of this program.
