Panelist Linda Barnes, CEO Geonetric

Linda Barnes is the CEO of Geonetric, a Cedar Rapids company that helps healthcare brands thrive through effective marketing and distinctive websites. Since joining the executive team at Geonetric in 2006, Barnes has been an instrumental part of the company’s growth. She’s overseen marketing, business development, human resources, and client services. In her previous role as Chief Operating Officer, she designed and implemented workplace culture initiatives that led to Geonetric repeatedly being named a best place to work as well as one of the most innovative and flexible companies in the country.

Linda has an A.A. degree from Cottey College, a B.A. degree in business from William Penn University, and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She is a Lean Six Sigma green belt, a Certified Scrum Master, and a Certified Agile Leader. An influential voice in organizational change and employee empowerment, Linda serves as a mentor for other innovative leaders in the Corridor and is a frequent guest speaker at both local meet-up groups and national conferences such as the WorldBlu Summit and Humanizing Work. Linda is a member of the Cedar Rapids Downtown Rotary and also serves on the boards of the Catherine McAuley Center, Orchestra Iowa, and the Technology Association of Iowa.
