The ATD Hawkeye Chapter is proud to host Kevin Eikenberry as he leads a two-day seminar around his book "From Bud to Boss". This incredible opportunity will prepare you for the responsibilities of leadership in our fast-paced world of work.

From Bud To Boss

The Bud to Boss workshop is a powerful, interactive, 2-day event where you can get the foundation you need and learn how to:

Influence, work, and negotiate with people—not just boss them around.
Get rid of your fear of conflict by learning ways to address it and neutralize it.
Engage, lead and develop a team.
Manage your time and juggle an ever-changing list of priorities.
Improve communication to be more powerful, persuasive and memorable.
Overcome resistance and accelerate organizational change.
Delegate effectively to increase productivity and motivation.
Implement an effective coaching model that maximizes your team’s performance.

When:

Tuesday and Wednesday, August 5th and 6th, 2025. 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

Where:

Kirkwood Regional Center at the University of Iowa, 2301 Oakdale Blvd. Coralville, IA 52241

A hotel block has been reserved at the Springhill Suites in Coralville, and information for booking will be provided by e-mail.

Cost:

Members can log into the website and register to receive a discounted price. Other guests will need to register online for $1300.00.

Continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are included in the cost of the event. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate.
