PRESENTERChanta Rand
DATE AND TIMEFriday June 14th at 8:30 a.m.
Creating an environment that helps learners feel safe is just as important to knowledge transfer as a visually pleasing presentation. As someone who made the transition from instructional design to interior decorating, I've found that both of these fields enjoy some of the same key principles. Just as we want to feel a safe space in our homes, learners also want to feel psychological safety to learn, practice, and get feedback without fear of being made fun of or criticized.
In this course, we will explore the fascinating intersection of interior design principles and the creation of psychologically safe learning environments, with a specific focus on online learning platforms such as webinars and e-learning modules. By the end of this course, you will not only gain a deeper understanding of how design impacts the learning experience but also learn practical strategies for designing and facilitating engaging, inclusive, and supportive online learning environments.
What's covered:
Take a fun, but critical journey with me as I show you how to align the fundamentals of interior design with instructional design to create an engaging, psychologically safe learning environment in your presentations.
